The Grooms

Diego TorresBenjamin-Michael Joseph Antipuna (Benny) is ecstatic to reprise the role of Diego in the 2020 return of Diego & Drew Say I Do! Originally from Philadelphia, Benny is a graduate of DeSales University and has worked in a variety of outlets such as theme parks, cruise ships, and national tours in a multitude of roles.  He recently left the road as Company Manager of the national tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I and joined the Broward Center family in the finance department. Favorite roles include: Dracula at Universal Orlando Resort‘s Beetlejuice Graveyard Review, Joey in Tony and Tina’s Wedding, and The Conjurer in Cirque Dreams.

Drew (Andrew Jackson Boudreaux III)Eric O’Keefe is thrilled to make his return to the role of Drew.  Eric is a New Yorker and a graduate of Florida Atlantic University.  Eric recently appeared as Tom in Measure for Measure Theater Company‘s production of Murder Ballad.  Other credits include South Pacific and Annie at The Wick Theatre, Zanna Don’t at Island City Stage, Slow Burn Theatre Company‘s Big River, Outre Theatre Company’s American Idiot, and Evening Star Productions’ regional premiere of 35mm: a Musical Exhibition, which was also his South Florida premiere.

 

The Boudreaux Family

Virginia Magnolia Hollingsworth (formerly Boudreaux) Sabrina Lynn Gore is stoked to be part of the wedding of the year, as Ginny.  You last saw her as Brodie in Precious Little at Thinking Cap Theatre and Sara in Murder Ballad at the Broward Center with Measure for Measure Theatre.  She is the proud recipient of a Silver Palm Award and Carbonell Award nomination for her portrayal of Diana in Next to Normal with Measure for Measure Theatre and Infinite Abyss.  Some favorite credits include: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at Broward Stage Door; Lizzie the Musical and Church at Thinking Cap; Shorts Gone Wild 5 at Island City Stage/City Theater; Bette and Barry and Son at Island City Stage; The Violet Hour, Othello, Much Ado about Nothing, Tick, Tick . . . BOOM!, and The Wild Party at Outré Theater Company; 9 to 5, Xanadu, Dog Fight, Side Show, Urinetown, The Rocky Horror Show, Assassins, and Blood Brothers at Slow Burn Theatre Company.

Andrew Jackson Boudreaux II Steven Chambers-Wilson is honored to reprise the role of Andrew Boudreaux II. Some South Florida roles include Father Mark in Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding at Broward Center for the Performing Arts, James Wicker in Curtain Call Playhouse’s production of It’s Only a Play, Versati in Main Street Players The Underpants, Mansel Dean in the tour of Second Samuel, Ken Talley in the Public Theater of South Florida’s Fifth of July and originating the role of Yosef Green in Tony Finstrom’s Knish Alley! at Broward Stage Door Theater. Steven has directed productions of Jack Goes Boating, The Normal Heart, The Sum of Us, On Golden Pond, and An Ideal Husband, among others.

Big Daddy (Andrew Jackson Boudreaux)Mark Kroczynski  is thrilled to be reprising his role as Big Daddy.  Along with numerous film and commercial credits, Mark has appeared in countless stage productions in South Florida including Superior Donuts, Approaching the Speed of LightShortcuts 8 and 9The Tilted HaloSocial SecuritySame Time Next Year, Lost in YonkersA Thousand Clowns and Arsenic and Old Lace at Actors Community Theater of Davie, The Drawer Boy at Thinking Cap Theater, Becky’s New Car and The Matchmaker at Curtain Call Playhouse, Fifty Plus at Pigs Do Fly Productions, and The Chastitute at Irish Theater of Florida.

 

The Torres Family

Lourdes Maria Guadalupe Escobar de la Cruz Torres Madelin Marchant is thrilled to reprise the role of Lourdes in Diego & Drew Say I Do.  She recently appeared as Tia Oneida in Wynwood Stories (Juggerknot Theatre Co.) and in the award winning short/documentary film, The Rafter/El Balsero, based on the first man to leave Cuba on a raft. She has appeared in numerous stage productions, films, national commercials, TV shows and staged readings. Favorite roles include Gypsy (Mamma Rose), Company (Joanne), Seesaw (Gittel), and Visiting Hours (Beth).  She is the Theatre Arts Director at South Miami Middle School since 2000, and holds a Master’s Degree in Theatre Education.

Santiago Torres –  Cesar Arguelles made is professional theatrical stage debut in 2016 world premiere production of Diego & Drew Say I Do, and is excited to reprise the role of Santiago, the patriotic patriarch of the Torres family.  Cesar is the Executive Sales Director at Vi Senior Living in Aventura, and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University in the City of New York.  He has forever had a passion for theatre.  As a child, he was always in the school plays and was chosen to attend acting school in Manhattan.  When one of his daughters became actively involved in her drama club at Fort Lauderdale  High School, he was re-bitten by the acting bug and now studies with acclaimed casting director Lori Wayman.

Maximiliano de la Cruz Torres (Max)Luis Albaer is thrilled make his professional stage debut as Diego’s brother, Max, in Diego & Drew Say I Do. A Miami native, he has performed on stage since the age of five. His favorite roles include Link Larkin in Hairspray, Jack in Into the Woods and Dick Powell in Shakespeare in Hollywood.  Over the past two seasons he has been assistant directing, choreographing, and writing for Miami Springs Senior High’s theater program.

Tia Maria Stephanie Sandoval is a New York City-based actress and director.  A Miami native, she is thrilled to be returning to South Florida for her Diego & Drew Say I Do debut as Tia Maria.  She has been seen on several Off-Broadway stages in the last few years, performing original , limited-engagement work, and was afforded the rare opportunity to showcase the New York City debut of “The Toothbrush Song,” from the production of Island Song by Sam Carner and Derek Gregor.  This production of Diego & Drew Say I Do gifts Stephanie with the opportunity to perform alongside her former teacher, Madelin Marchant.

 

Others

BoRobert Ayala is thrilled to be joining this wonderful cast Diego and Drew! He is a native of South Florida and has lived here all his life. He recently graduated from Florida International University with his BFA in Theatre Performance (2018). Some of his recent projects include West Side Story (Action), Miami Motel Stories (Carlos), and Dancing at Lughnasa (Gerry).

 

Shelby RobertsChristina Groom is incredibly excited to be making her Diego & Drew Say I Do debut as Shelby Roberts.  She is a 2014 Silver Palm Award recipient and a Carbonell Award nominee for her work in Have I Got A Girl For You and Perfect Arrangement at Island City Stage, and Gidion’s Knot at New Theatre.  Other credits include Veronica’s Position at Island City Stage, Freaky Friday at Slow Burn Theatre Company, All the Way at Actors’ Playhouse, Mary and Myrna at Ensemble Stage, Gypsy at Stage Door Theater Company, The Book of Liz at Thinking Cap Theatre and City Shorts at City Theatre.  When not on stage, she is either running with her husband, working out, attempting to learn a musical instrument, or playing with her dog.

Raven Evermore – R. Kent Wilson is excited to return to the role of Raven Evermore (her essence is his beacon for living a full life). Kent has multifaceted experience as an actor, stage manager, assistant director, producer, sound designer, dramaturge, and playwright. His favorite roles include Mr. Linquist in A Little Night Music and Friar Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet. He has been on the Ambassadors Council for the National New Play Network and is a past Board President for the Theatre League of South Florida (isn’t this now called “South Florida Theatre League”?). He is currently a Carbonell Awards judge and a company member of Lost Girls Theatre.

Vance Treble –  Jordon Armstrong is thrilled to make his Diego & Drew Say I Do debut as the one, the only, Vance Treble.  Additionally, Jordon serves as the lighting designer for this production.  A South Florida native, Jordon received his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Florida Atlantic University.  He has worked at theatres throughout South Florida.  Recently, he has appeared in Veronica’s Position at Island City Stage, and the world premiere production of , at TheatreLab.

Stacy Nicole Masters Michelle Caravia makes her Diego & Drew Say I Do debut as the consummate social media maven, Stacy Nicole Masters. Michelle graduated as a vocal performance major from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. She was a finalist in the International Young Artists Peninsula Music Festival, Long Beach Mozart Festival, Carmel Music Society Vocal Competition, and winner of the Redlands Bowl Music Festival, all in her home state of California, where she also appeared as Elsie in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Yeomen of the Guard with Opera San Luis Obispo. While in Florida, Ms. Caravia has performed in the New World Symphony’s production of Reich’s Music for 18 Musicians and soloed in four different productions with the Miami City Ballet. She was the soprano soloist in the Miami Gay Men’s Chorus production of I am Harvey Milk. She is currently a soprano soloist at Coral Gables Congregational Church. Four years ago, Ms. Caravia enrolled in improv classes at Just the Funny Theater in Coral Gables and has since become a director and instructor, teaching musical improv courses. She is currently directing the theater’s musical improv show entitled Cheap Trills. Ms. Caravia has participated in the West Palm Beach, Sarasota, and Chicago Musical Improv Festivals.

Chauncey Davenport Jesus Reyna is excited to make his Diego & Drew Say I Do as Chauncey Davenport.  Jesus was last seen in David Goldyn’s production of Daddy Issues at the WIllow Theatre, in the role of Levi.  He was also in the South Florida Symphony Orchestra’s production of Porgy and Bess, as the detective.  Other recent credits include Lenny Ganz in Neil Simon’s Rumors, and the lead role in An Inspector Calls for the Pen Players.

Stage Manager Joseph Long is a Miami native. He went to Florida International University for Elementary Education with a Specialty in TSOL. It was later that he decided that pursuing a career in the performing arts would better suit his purpose in life. So, he took some acting courses at Miami Dade College. Some of his acting credits include: Minister Pau in King Solomon and his 700 Wives, multiple roles in The Laramie Project, Bobby Grossman in the off-Broadway production of The Boychick Affair, Big Jule in Guys and Dolls, Drake in Annie, Carmen Ghia in The Producers, Collins in RENT, Voice Of The Plant in Little Shop of Horrors, Marty in Dreamgirls, multiple roles in God’s Trombones and the list goes on. Over the past 8 years, Joseph took on the role of Stage Manager working on productions of RENT, Little Shop of Horrors, Sounds of Simon, The Producers, Bungalow Bunnies, and recently Boys of A Certain Age, written by Dan Fingerman, at Empire Stage. Joseph can also be found singing at Universal Truth Center For Better Living on Sundays and other special services. In his spare time, he likes to volunteer for charities including American Heart Association – Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, The American Diabetes Association and AIDS Walk events. Other interests include: karaoke, quality time with family and friends, and watching Japanese anime.

Sound Engineer – Timothy Stanley is excited to be a part of Diego & Drew Say I Do. He has previous experience in Theatrical Sound Design, Theme Park Live Entertainment, Shipboard Entertainment, and Theatrical Touring. Timothy is currently working for Royal Caribbean Productions as a Specialist: Theatrical Technical Engineer.
