A REAL WEDDING AT DIEGO & DREW SAY I DO

Life is imitating art at the hilarious interactive comedy Diego & Drew Say I Do playing now through Sunday at the Broward Center For the Performing Arts.

image On opening night, local journalist J.W. Arnold surprised his longtime partner Clint Gordon with a proposal and was accepted and on April 7 Ben Gines and John Niko, a Fort Lauderdale couple who have been together for 20 years tied the knot during the show.

Audiences are the wedding guests at this fabulous and fun comedy as they dance, eat and interact with the cast of characters including two eccentric, yet lovable families, an uptight wedding planner, an ex-boy band crooner and a diva in drag. Remaining performances are Thursday, April 7–Sunday, April 10 with show times on Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 4 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday at 1 and 6 p.m. General admission tickets are $59.50 and include buffet dinner, cake and a champagne toast.
